West Georgia Nonprofit Internship Program

The Nonprofit Internship program at UWG provides internship experiences at nonprofit organizations that serve our community. As partners in this program, our local nonprofit organizations benefit from hosting quality UWG interns and expanding their organizational capacity to work towards their mission. In turn, interns benefit from finding a greater sense of place and belingingness within the univeristy and the broader community while building their professional network and developing transferable skills that will follow them into their careers. Interns will recieve unique opportunities with our nonprofit partners and will learn about what it takes to manage a nonprofit organization through meaningful projects.

Student interns have the option to receive course credit for their internship if their experience meets the required criteria and objectives of their specific major. The Nonprofit Internship Program is open to any major at UWG.
