Amanda Wright is the Executive Director of Business and Partnership Development within the Office of the Provost. A UWG alumna, Amanda began as a staff member in 2013, initially serving in the Division of Academic Affairs before transitioning to the Office of the President in 2015 to serve in public service and outreach roles.
Amanda is from Carrollton and holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of West Georgia, a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University, and is currently pursuing an Ed.D in Higher Education Administration from the University of West Georgia. She is certified by the Georgia Academy for Economic Development and is a licensed nonprofit consultant for the National Standards for Excellence Institute.
Amanda enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, Randall, who teaches at Mt. Zion Elementary School and serves as the Varsity Baseball Coach for Mt. Zion High School.
