Welcome to STEM Research Center

	The Center for STEM Research fosters student engagement in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The National Science Foundation and the University System of Georgia have identified a critical need for increased student participation in STEM related disciplines. The Center for STEM Research organizes research projects, curriculum, and discussion groups that require interdisciplinary cooperation and integration among the STEM related disciplines. Although the center is not affiliated with a particular department, faculty and student members have homes in traditional departments. The goal is to use the Center for STEM Research to generate new knowledge at the interface of STEM disciplines in both basic research and student teaching and learning.
