Collin Brooks, Ph.D

Collin Brooks is an Assistant Professor at the University of West Georgia since 2020. In 2021 Collin earned his Doctoral degree in Sport Pedagogy from the University of Northern Colorado. Collin has ten years of K-12 physical education teaching experience and is a National Board Certified Teacher. Dr. Brooks has served as a Society of Health and Physical Educators America Board of Director and is involved in online professional learning activities for physical educators, including a blog named PHYEDagogoy.com.

Dr. Brooks' research interests include effective teaching and preparation of physical education teachers, curriculum design, and physical educators' use of social media.
