Gina Brandenburg, M.S., CHES, CWP

Gina Brandenburg joined the Department of Sport Management, Wellness, and Physical Education in the fall of 2016 as a part time instructor. She retired from her full time position as Program Manager for Tanner Health System's Get Healthy Live Well initiative in July 2017 and began as a full time instructor in the fall semester of 2017. Ms. Brandenburg is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), a Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP) and has completed the following health and wellness certifications/specialized training:

  • National Diabetes Prevention Program - Certified Lifestyle Coach
  • Los Angeles Childrens Hospital - Certified Kids N Fitness Coach
  • Stanford Patient Education - Certified facilitator for Chronic Disease Self-Management program
  • Stanford Patient Education - Certified facilitator for Diabetes Self-Management program
  • Welcoa Seven Benchmarks Worksite Wellness Certifications, Beginning and Advanced
  • Welcoa - Walking 4 Wellness
  • Spencer Institute - Certified Sleep Science Coach
  • QPR Institute - QPR Instructor

In her spare time, Ms. Brandenburg enjoys bicycling, fitness walking, travel, photography, cooking, and spending time with family.
