Anne Gaquere, Ph.D.

Dr. Gaquere-Parker serves as the Assistant Vice-President for Education Abroad and Grants at UWG. She holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and has obtained 18 graduate hours in Art History. She is a tenured full professor of chemistry and was the co-director of the STEM Teacher Preparation program at UWG. She co-authored several papers and a book on Chemistry and Art. She taught organic chemistry, chemistry and art, environmental science, medicinal and nursing chemistry, history of science, to only cite a few. She has designed and led several STEAM Teacher training workshops and has been the PI or co-PI of 14 successful externally funded grant proposals (~$4,000,000) focusing on Chemistry and Art, STEM Teacher preparation, and Leadership Development.
