Who We Are
The Office of the University Ombuds at the University of West Georgia offers a welcoming, informal space for the campus community. Our role is to assist in navigating challenges and resolving conflicts with a focus on fairness and respect.

Our Services
- Guidance and Support: We help students, faculty, and staff understand University policies and manage conflicts.
- Training and Outreach: Promoting conflict management and cooperation is key. We conduct training sessions to enhance these skills.
- Facilitation: When conflicts arise, we're here to facilitate conversations and seek amicable solutions.
Our Approach
- Confidential and Neutral: All discussions are kept confidential. We maintain neutrality and do not take sides.
- Ethical Standards: Adhering to the International Ombudsman Association's Code of Ethics and Standard Operating Practices, we ensure integrity in all interactions.

- Flexible Options: We offer in-person and online consultations.
- Making Appointments: To ensure confidentiality, appointments are encouraged and can be made via phone or email.
