You can access your student email via Gmail.com using your myUWG ID username@my.westga.edu and password.
Be sure to Register Security Questions for Self Service Password-Reset.
Orientation
The information below concerns Undergraduate Orientation. For information about Graduate Student Orientation please visit the Graduate Student Orientation page.
Orientation is designed to help you settle into the university and provide you with information to fully prepare you for the start of your classes.
Orientation Leaders and UWG faculty and staff will guide you through the course registration process and familiarize you with campus resources.
How to Register
You are encouraged to complete the registration with your parent and/or guardian. To complete your registration, you will be required to pay with credit/debit card or electronic check.
Note: All orientation fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Incoming Freshmen: Please complete the New Student Profile survey during the Self-Service Banner session of your Freshman Orientation. Please do not complete this at any other time.

Housing

This page contains important information that you will need in order to complete your housing contract. Please be sure to read the information thoroughly.
All students new to housing will be required to pay a non-refundable $150.00 application fee. Follow the link at the bottom of the page to complete the appropriate term Housing Application.
Please take the time to review information about our New Student Programs, as all first year students are expected to participate in a New Student Program.

Residency Requirement
All First-Time in College Students are required to live on campus unless they meet one of the qualifications for exemption. More information on Residency Requirements is available on the Housing and Residence Life website and through the housing portal.

UWG has partnered with EverFi, whose mission is to help students address & develop critical life skills. AlcoholEdu empowers students to make well-informed decisions and provides some simple strategies to help you and your friends stay safe. Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates (SAPU) and Sexual Assault Prevention for Graduate Students (SAPG) are programs that educate students about the elements of healthy relationships, the importance of sexual consent, and the role of bystanders in creating safe, healthy communities. AlcoholEdu and SAPU/SAPG offer a confidential, personalized experience for each student. Please see the EverFi Instructions and FAQ page for more information.
MyHub by National Student ClearingHouse
MyHub by National Student ClearingHouse is a comprehensive and user-friendly online platform designed to help students access academic and enrollment information. This web portal offers a wide range of services, including secure and convenient access to enrollment and degree verification.
