Why Stay West: Resident Testimonials
It feels good to come back to a place that's mine.
I like interacting with my residents.
I love the ease of transportation and being able to walk to class.
My family and I moved on campus to be able to save for our first home. Rent off-campus is high, and moving on-campus allowed us the opportunity to downsize and save. The amenities are great and I hate commutes, so this was perfect!
Being from South Georgia, the University of West Georgia is very far from my hometown. I did not know anyone else that was coming to school here but through the housing portal, I was able to find my roommate. Me and my roommate are very like-minded which has helped my transition into college tremendously. Living in the Oaks is a very central location, I have loved being so close to all of my classes and being able to walk everywhere. Living on campus at UWG has allowed me to make numerous friends and I feel like I have been able to truly blossom here
Living in Arbor View is amazing! The living room is great for hosting movie nights and dinners with my friends. I love having a kitchen to bake and try new recipes. I'm also located right next to my biology classes.
I love that I don't have to drive an hour away for classes.
It's easy and accessible for classes and food.
