Ticket Appeals
How to appeal a ticket for University of West Georgia students, staff, and faculty
Parking Services does not have the authority to dismiss tickets. All ticket disputes must be handled through the appeals process set forth in the parking regulations. All appeals must be made within 14 days of the date of the citation. The Parking Appeals Committee is comprised of one student, one faculty, and one staff member. No member is affiliated with either Parking Services or University Police. Notification of appeal decisions are made via the email address submitted with the appeal.
- Click on "Lookup a Ticket." You will need the license plate number and the ticket number.
- Click “Appeal Ticket.”
- Complete the appeal form – please note: this is where you will add the reason you feel the appeal should be granted. You may also upload up to 4 documents or pictures of support.
- Once submitted, it may take up to 2 weeks for the Appeals Committee to make their judgment. You will receive an email with their decision. All decisions are final.
