Student Organization Registration
benefits to registering your organization on campus
- Reserve the use of University facilities
- Sponsor or present a public performance on University property when a University facility has been properly reserved and University regulations and administrative rules are followed
- Raise funds or make other permissible solicitations on University property in accordance with University regulations and administrative rules
- Post signs and distribute literature in accordance with University regulations
- Use of campus Mail Services
- Receive constant professional and personal development
Registration Information
What you will need:
- An organization email address - Can be the president's email or a new email created for the organization. Must be the best way to contact someone about your organization
- A University advisor - Must be full-time faculty or professional staff
- A constitution - An organization's governing document. This document must include the university's non-discrimination clause as it is stated in the Student Handbook: "The University of West Georgia forbids discrimination or harassment in its programs and activities on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, gender, identity, sexual orientation, disability (including pregnancy), age, religion, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by Institutional policy, or state, local, or federal law."
- At least 5 student (undergraduate, graduate, part-time, or full-time) members
- A member roster - Updated via Wolf Connect
Please note: Only enrolled students are able to create student organizations
Once you have all the above complete, register your new organization on Wolf Connect.

ALL NEW PRESIDENTS must attend a president's meeting. During the re-registration period, they will be held every week.
Your membership roster lives on Wolf Connect. Be sure to keep this roster up to date AT ALL TIMES. If at any time your roster is not up to date, your organization may be frozen.
