Welcome to Dual-Enrollment Advising at UWG!

New Dual Enrollment Students at UWG:

  1. Please be sure to first complete all steps to apply for Dual Enrollment at UWG. Those steps are linked here: Dual Enrollment.

  2. After you have been admitted, completed important application documents, and completed your GA Futures Funding Application, you can meet with your high school counselor to discuss Dual Enrollment Courses and policies specific to your high school. 
  3. Once these two steps have been completed, your Dual-Enrollment Advisor can assist you with registration, course questions, or anything related to academic advising only at UWG. 
  4. Your Dual Enrollment Academic Advisor is assigned to you by your last name. If you are a new Dual-Enrolled student, you can reach out to your Academic Advisor via your UWG email address. Please be sure you are communicating with your Dual Enrollment Academic Advisor through your UWG email address ONLY. 

 

Current Dual Enrollment Students at UWG:

  1. Meet with your high school counselor to discuss Dual Enrollment courses and policies specific to your high school. You will want to meet with them to discuss what dual enrollment courses may be best for you to take at UWG. 

  2. Your Dual Enrollment Academic Advisor is assigned to you by your last name. You may reach out to your Academic Advisor via your UWG email address. Please be sure to communicate with your Dual Enrollment Academic Advisor through your UWG email address. Your Dual Enrollment Academic Advisor will also be reaching out to you through your UWG email.

FAQs

1. There is a “See Dual Enrollment Advisor” hold on my account. How can I resolve this?

All dual-enrolled students have a “See Dual Enrollment Advisor” on their account. This is because our Dual Enrollment Advisors register dual-enrolled students.

2. I need to make a change to my schedule. How can I do that?

Please be sure to have approval from your high school counselor prior to making a change on your schedule. Once you have approval, please email your assigned Dual Enrollment Advisor with a detailed message about the changes you want to make. Your Dual Enrollment Academic Advisor will work with you personally on any changes that need to be made.

3. A class that I am interested in is full or requires a pre-requisite.

Please contact your Academic Advisor to discuss what course this is or what pre-requisite is needed.

4. How do I check to see if I am registered for the classes I requested?

You can check your schedule following the steps below:

· Login to your OneLogin Portal

· Click or Search for Student Registration

· Select View Registration Information

· Select Look Up a Schedule

· Select the term you would like to view the schedule for

5. Where do I access my courses once registered?

All dual enrolled students taking UWG in-person or online classes will utilize Courseden.

6. I requested a class, but do not see it on my schedule.

It is possible that the course filled. Please contact your Academic Advisor about your schedule.

7. I am unable to log in to my UWG Onelogin. What should I do?

Dual Enrollment Advisors

  • Advisors answer phone calls and emails during office hours Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • If you receive a voice mail prompt, please leave a detailed message with your full name, UWG student ID#, and a telephone number where you can be reached.
  • Allow at least one full business day (24 hours) for an email response. Response times may be longer during busier times of the year.

 

Dual-Enrollment Advisors register Dual-Enrolled Students. Due to funding and specific course needs, dual-enrolled students are not eligible to register on their own. 

Please contact your Dual-Enrollment Advisor via your UWG email for information regarding registration for Spring 2025. As a reminder, we are only registering dual-enrolled students for Spring 2025.
