CMWL-3102 Psychology of Health and Wellness
Description
This course examines the psychosocial antecedents and consequences of health behaviors, with an emphasis on physical activity. This course will reinforce and extend students' knowledge of mental and emotional wellness, while examining the influence of physical activity on cognitive, mental, and emotional outcomes. Students will also learn and apply behavior change theories in various health promotion contexts, such as worksite wellness programs and health education campaigns.
