Our program provides students with a breadth of learning experiences that meet the needs of current teachers in the field. Coursework includes music education, history, theory, research methods, and your choice of electives or thesis credit.

Georgia educators have the opportunity to upgrade their credentials to a level five certificate upon successful completion of the M.M. program. Applicants must already hold a level four standard professional, performance-based professional, advanced professional, life, or induction teaching certificate in music education.
