Follow the steps below to assist you in having a smooth transition into graduate school.

1) Check your student email.
For assistance in accessing your student email, contact the service desk through servicedesk@westga.edu or call (678) 839-6587.
2) Apply for financial aid.
Complete your FAFSA and check yourFinancial Aid status through Self-Service Banner. Keep an eye on your UWG student email in case there are any further steps you need to complete. To contact Financial Aid for any assistance, email finaid@westga.edu or call (678) 839-6421.
Some graduate programs require attendance of either an online or in-person orientation. Ensure that you check your UWG student email regularly after you have been accepted for possible orientation dates. If your program does not have an orientation, then you can skip this step! 4) If needed, set up housing and a meal plan.
Contact Housing through housing@westga.edu or call (678) 839-6426. Explore our Dine West Meal Plans, and if you have any questions, call (678) 839-6525.
5) Ensure all final transcripts, immunization forms, and your lawful presence verification have been submitted.
